Wildwood Camping near Clausthal-Zellerfeld in the Upper Harz

Hello everyone,

We arrived safely at Wildwood Camp in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from a young team.

This campsite in the Upper Harz region is a real insider tip, and the name Wildwood Camping says it all. You're surrounded by nature, surrounded by large trees that provide shade. Electricity and water connections are available nearby.

The washroom is spacious, modern, and very clean.

At the reception, there's a small sun terrace with a pizza oven that can be used free of charge.

There's also a small camp shop in the reception building. Here you can get chilled drinks, coffee, ice cream, snacks, and you can also pick up your ordered bread rolls.

Barbecuing is permitted on the pitches, as long as the forest fire risk permits. Two barbecue islands are also available.

For the romantic evening campfire, there's a fire pit next to the barbecue areas.

Right outside the door is the Upper Harz Water Regale, 107 man-made or dammed ponds that were formerly used for mining. Today, some serve as drinking water reserves, while others also provide a welcome cooling dip for humans and animals.

Clausthal-Zellerfeld is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. The Upper Harz Mountain Farmers' Market takes place on Bornhardstraße every Thursday from May to October. It's a mix of a weekly market, flea market, and Christmas market where you can consume plenty of calories at every corner. The Mining Museum is also located on this street.

We really like it here, and above all, the campsite isn't far from our home.

Best regards, and see you soon at
