Motorhome parking space at Lauenburg Marina

Hello everyone,

We've driven through Lauenburg many times, but today we stopped for the first time on our way back from Denmark.

The parking space is right on the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. The plots are divided into two levels, so you have a good view of the canal even from the upper level.

The pitches are level but quite small. One awning can't be fully opened. Our vehicle is parked right on the edge of the parking space, and on the other side, we're only about 1.5 meters from the edge.

The harbormaster runs a small restaurant called "Skippertreff," where you can eat quite well.

Behind the restaurant is the washroom with showers and toilets, which you can enter for 50 cents. Showers cost extra.

The nearby B209 road and the bridge are very busy during the week starting at 4 a.m. I'm a light sleeper and woke up from the noise.

The parking space is fine for one night, though.

Today our trip ends and we head home.

Best camper greetings
